Admissions Calendar and Recommended Bibliography

   Colegiul Național „Andrei Șaguna” from Brașov is a Candidate School* for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Colegiul Național „Andrei Șaguna” believes is important for our students.

   *Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).   • Applications for the current year open

31st July

  • Applications close

1st August

  • The Admissions Committee starts the process of Recruitment (check the application documentation, assess the personal statement)

1st September
  • The list with the students’ individual codes is published
  • Interviews are scheduled

4th-7th September

  • Interviews take place

8th September

  • Final results are released

Any alterations in the Admissions Calendar (due to specific educational regulations

on national level) will be made accessibile here by 1st September.

   The personal statement should demonstrate in 400-500 words the qualities and skills you have acquired so far and the reasons why you want to be part of the programme.
